Georgia OP is a traditional black tea from Georgia. This tea is very popular in Russia, where it is sweetened not only with lots of sugar, but also with so-called warenje, which is a type of marmalade used by Russians. Georgian black tea has a delicate flavor with a slightly smoky touch. Unfortunately, the original variety of this tea is no longer available, but it is still an excellent strong tea that is best enjoyed prepared in a samovar.
Ingredients
Black Georgian tea.
Preparation
Pour 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea into a mug (250 ml). Pour boiling water (100ºC). Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25 °C away from direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
