Relaxer is designed for curly and unruly hair (African/Afro-Caribbean hair types) that cannot be ironed with a flat iron without the use of the product. It balances them in the long term and with comprehensive and nourishing care, it makes sure that the hair is healthier and has a sleek look. Do not use on hair of children under 13 years of age.
Apply a protective layer of cream along the hairline, around the ears and neck, e.g. Vaseline. Put a towel on your shoulders and always wear gloves. Divide the hair into 4 sections. Front left and right, rear left and right. Use only on natural hair. Avoid contact with skin. If you have used the product before, apply only to new growth. Working from the neck forward, apply evenly and quickly in small sections. Finally, apply along the hair, ears and neck. Use a neutralizing shampoo to thoroughly remove the relaxer. This prevents the frizz that is often associated with straightening and use other hair treatment products immediately after the straightening process. If the shampoo foam turns blue, there are still residues in the hair and it is necessary to repeat the wash until the foam is free of blue colour.
