Semi-fermented tea with unique properties
Oolong has its roots in China's Fujian province, where it has been cultivated for centuries. Unlike green or black tea, Oolong undergoes only partial oxidation, which gives it a unique taste and aroma. Loose Oolong Roasted is fresh, has a delicate taste with pronounced floral notes and a long sweet finish . It is rich in antioxidants, that help protect cells from damage and slow down the aging process.

Oxidation of tea adds colour and flavour
Tea oxidation is the process by which tea leaves are exposed to air, leading to chemical reactions that change the taste, colour and aroma of the tea. It is due to oxidation that we distinguish different types of tea - white, green, oolong and black. Black teas have the highest oxidation rate, white teas the lowest. Oolong is thus somewhere halfway between black and green tea, combining the best of both of its tea counterparts.

Preparation and storage of tea
Pour 2 teaspoons per 250 ml of water at 90 °C and infuse for about 5 minutes. You can pour the tea 3 more times after drinking (or as long as you still like it). Cook it rather in the morning for breakfast or after an afternoon meal. Sip it during the day at peak workload or when you need to concentrate. Due to the caffeine content, we do not recommend drinking the tea in the evening so that you do not have trouble falling asleep.
How to store Abuamo loose tea?
Keep loose tea in the packaging in which you received it. These are coated with a special ALU layer that preserves the aroma inside the bag and blocks ambient light. The packaging is also resealable. If you do want to repackage it, store it in an airtight container where it is dark and cool - perhaps in the pantry.
