Marshall Acton BT IV Cream
Marshall Acton BT IV Cream
The Marshall Acton BT IV Bluetooth speaker delivers stereo sound with an expanded soundstage. Inside, it features a 4" woofer and a pair of 0.75" tweeters, each with its own Class D amplifier. The redesigned bass-reflex port supports cleaner and more pronounced bass even at higher volumes, while Dynamic Loudness continuously adjusts the tonal balance to the set volume level. Wireless connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast and support for SBC, AAC, LDAC and LC3 codecs, with Bluetooth Multipoint also available. Analogue sources can be connected via the AUX with a 3.5mm jack or the RCA input, which can be used for a turntable, for example. The top panel, with elements inspired by classic Marshall amps, offers direct adjustment of bass, treble and volume, playback control, source selection and a customisable M-button. The Marshall app allows you to work with the equaliser and room calibration.

Wider Soundstage and Redesigned Bass
The tweeters and waveguides disperse sound across a larger area of the room and promote more distinct separation between the left and right channels. The bass component is handled by a 4" woofer. A bass-reflex port contributes to clean, powerful bass with a tighter response at higher volumes. Its design also allows the speaker to be placed closer to a wall. The Dynamic Loudness function adjusts the tonal balance according to the volume, maintaining a consistent sound character at different listening levels.
Bluetooth, Analogue Inputs and Controls
Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast technology allows you to integrate the Acton IV into a multi-speaker setup and synchronise playback between compatible devices. For wired sources, a 3.5mm AUX jack and an RCA input are available, which can also be used to connect a turntable. The control panel offers separate controls for volume, bass and treble, a power switch, media controls, source selection and a customisable M-button. The M-button can be used to access your favourite music via Spotify Tap or to select a sound preset. Further customisation is available through the Marshall app, with an equaliser and calibration based on the room's acoustic conditions.
