Marantz PM-14S1 delivers reference class audio performance with the capability to work with an extensive range of sources. The PM-14S1 introduces a new level of experience because this edition has been lovingly tuned and passionately optimised for high-definition files. And with output power at 90 watts per channel at 8 ohm output and up to 140 watts per channel at 4 ohms. The power supply in the Marantz PM-14S1 is suitably equipped with a massive shielded toroidal transformer with an output of 650 VA and a secondary winding made of oxygen-free copper and high-speed Schottky diodes in the rectifier phase. At all levels of volume, you will get the same quality, including explosive sound.

Fully discrete amplifier for high current

For compatibility with the widest range of speaker impedances, the Marantz PM-14S1 power amplifier stages feature high current power output devices, and for maximum channel separation, each amplifier stage features segregated circuitry. The individual coolers are made of extruded aluminium alloy with a large effective radiating area for efficient cooling of all loaded parts without noise, as there is no fan, thus, a noiseless heat dissipation. This ensures high stability and wide dynamic range even in the case of lower impedance speakers.

Marantz HDAM technology

Marantz's exclusive HDAM technology uses only discrete components in the circuits that retain analogue purity and provide broadband sound with an impressive dynamic range over the integrated circuits. The Marantz PM-14S1 uses a total of 24 HDAM SA2 and SA3 units including the phono processor, lineup, power amplifier, and headphone output.

Multiple analogue inputs and outputs on the Marantz PM-14S1

The analogue inputs and outputs are an advanced phono (Gramophone) using a processor capable of receiving signals of moving magnets and coils in the analogue. Therefore, the analogue signal will be preserved, maintaining its quality to the output for headphones and speakers. There is two line inputs and two input/output pairs for the recorders as well as a power amplifier direct input that allows you to use the PM-14S1 as a standalone stereo power amplifier. The versatility of the amplifier's configuration is enhanced by the stereo pre-amplifier outputs that eventually allow the PM-14S1 to be connected to an external power amplifier.
