The popular Quantum series, and the first Monitor Supreme series, have served as leaders in their class. All speakers were precisely tuned using the Klippel laser measuring system. The base and bass speakers are set in a robust metal basket that connect them with powerful magnets. Previous speakers use the proven cellulose-based paper membrane and have been doing so for years. Compared now, the bass reflex socket (Airflex) has been optimised, which means it now helps to better distinct the deep frequencies in the room, and minimise the effect of airflow on the sound.
The 25mm silk calotte ensures that the speaker’s sound quality plays better in the room - the sound output better spread across the room, and behaves in a way to product quality listening that will keep you entertained for hours. To minimise high-frequency diffraction and for the unit to have a more appealing appearance, the rounded edges of the device help . Everything closes the sound with a tuned crossroad that deals with high pitch, and phase, correction. The result is maximum music reproduction with high dynamics.
The bellows are constructed from solid MDF boards to provide sufficient stiffness to eliminate undesirable residual resonance and associated sound interference. The surface treatment is made of high quality decorative foil in conjunction with the black front.
