The Magnat Monitor Supreme 102 speakers offer an excellent reproduction quality compared to the purchase price. Due to the availability of the speakers and the quality of the performance, the manufacturer decided to minimise the cost of the design and preferred to put the vast majority of the funds into what matters most to the speakers - and thus to the high-quality reproduction. The popular Quantum series and the first Monitor Supreme series have served as the speakers. All inverters were precisely tuned using the Klippel laser measuring system. The mid-bass speakers are seated in robust metal baskets that connect them with powerful magnets. They have been using the proven cellulose-based paper membrane for years.
The 13mm mylar membrane cares for the delicate rendition of the front speaker heights. To minimise high-frequency diffraction and more appealing appearance, the rounded edges of the baffles help. Everything closes a tuned crossroad with high pitch and phase correction. The result is maximum faithful reproduction with high dynamics of rendition. The bellows are constructed from solid MDF boards to provide sufficient stiffness to eliminate undesirable residual resonance and associated sound coloration. The surface treatment is made of high-quality decorative foil in conjunction with the black front. For connection to the amplifier, gold-plated screw terminals are prepared on the rear.
