The Magnat Monitor Supreme 102 speakers offer an excellent performance to price ratio. The manufacturer decided to minimise the cost of the design and focus its resources on what matters most in a speaker - high-quality sound reproduction. The popular Quantum series and the first Monitor Supreme served as the basis for this set's design. The drivers were precisely tuned using the Klippel laser measurement system. The mid-range speakers are enclosed in robust metal baskets that connect them with powerful magnets and they use time-proven cellulose-hardened paper membranes.
The 13mm Mylar membrane ensures precise heights and the rounded edges of the baffles help to minimise the diffraction of high frequencies and create a more appealing appearance. This closes the tuned turnout with a high slope and phase correction. The result is faithful sound reproduction with a high dynamic presentation. The cabinet is constructed from solid MDF boards to provide sufficient stiffness to eliminate unwanted residual resonance and the associated sound colouration. The surface finish is made of high-quality decorative foil in conjunction with a black front.
