Glutathione is the strongest antioxidant [1] that the body can make on its own and recycles it. If the body becomes too toxic [2], this function of the body fails. Glutathione is able to prevent damage to important cellular components caused by free radicals (see footnote) and heavy metals.

Glutathione has its own specific scent, which it owes to the sulfur component in its composition. And it is sulfur that acts as a scavenger of unwanted substances found in our body, including free radicals, poisons and heavy metals [3].
[1] antioxidant : a substance that reduces or reduces the amount of free radicals. Free radicals are very small harmful particles. Because they are free, they want to attach to something, so they attack cells, damaging them. The cells then spill into their surroundings, and because there are substances in the cells that cause decomposition, it also damages the surrounding cells. This is how the inflammatory process begins. Free radicals can damage or deactivate important parts of the body.
