The new NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Accelerator Series is meant professional workstations with two monitors. The card is not designed for ordinary users, and despite its high performance, it is not suitable for demanding computer gamers.
Its prime application is in the corporate sector, where its top parameters and specific features will be used primarily by architects and designers for rendering 3D scenes with design and graphic CAD software. The performance of the graphics card is particularly suited to professional applications from a wide range of industries for which it has been specially designed.
An advantage is the presence of Display Port connector along with DVI to connect professional monitors up to 3840 × 2160 resolution. Despite the high performance, the card uses 41W and has a low profile, making it an ideal component of smaller workstations. The card is fully supported by the ThinkStation P500 / P700 / P900 workstations.
