Independent power and safety features
The solar panel and hand crank dynamo ensure you are energy independent. During the day, simply expose the radio to sunlight and the integrated battery will start to recharge. If the sun isn't shining, a few minutes of turning the dynamo crank provides enough power for more listening. For crisis situations, there is a built-in LED torch to help you find your way in the dark, and an SOS button to attract attention. In addition to standard FM stations, the radio also receives the shortwave (SW) band, which lets you pick up broadcasts from distant locations.
