The straight blade is made of high-carbon 420HC stainless steel and specially heat treated. The handle is a special thermoplastic material - nylon with added glass fibres for perfect durability without any additional weight. The handle is so strong that no internal steel construction is needed. The resulting knife weight is even lower.
