2-Year Warranty and Free Data Recovery Service

The Rescue Data Recovery service recovers data lost due to a disk failure, virus attack, software problem, or any other cause. The customer is entitled to one free data recovery attempt for the duration of the service. However, LaCie does not guarantee that the lost data can be restored in all cases. The Rescue Data Recovery service is linked to the internal disk contained in your LaCie drive. Any renewed data will be stored by Seagate onto a special storage device or cloud storage where the customer has access for 60 days.
