Rugged USB-C series external drives are available in 4 different capacities. The smallest variant is the 1TB model, then there is a 2TB model, a larger 4TB model and the largest variant is the 5TB model. Despite the large capacity of 5TB, the size of the external hard drive itself is relatively small.

2 Year Warranty and a Free Data Recovery Service

The Rescue Data Recovery service will recover any data that is lost as a result of hard drive failure, virus attack, software problems, or anything else that causes data to be lost. The customer is entitled to one free data recovery attempt for the duration of the service. However, LaCie does not guarantee that the lost data can be restored in all cases. The Rescue Data Recovery service is linked to the internal disk contained within LaCie. Renewed data will then be stored in the Seagate laboratory on a special storage device or in cloud storage, where it will be available to the customer for 60 days. More information can be found here.
