Great data protection in any terrain
Your data are irreplaceable, so it is vital to protect them against any conceivable accidents, no matter where you go. LaCie has therefore made the new Rugged external drive more durable than ever before. The drive is MIL-compatible, which means that the data is protected even during a fall from a height of two meters (6.6 feet). If you are travelling, you can protect the drive with a special removable case that will give you IP-54 certified protection against dust and water. If LaCie Rugged falls out of your backpack or gets splattered with mud, you rest assured that your data will remain accessible.
