KORG Minilogue Xd

The Korg minilogue xd analogue synthesizer has added digital multi-engine, effects, improved sequencer and micro-tuning functionality from the original minilogue, further expanding the potential for sound design and live performance. The sound structure of the minilogue xd is 2 VCO + MULTI ENGINE, 1 VCF, 2 EG, 1 VCA, and 1 LFO. Plus there's cross modulation, a sharp two-pole filter and a drive switch that adds density and routes the signal to the minilogue xd filter. From the warm analogue-style flats to fat bass and crisp solos, the sonic range suits every situation.

Digital multi-engine in Korg minilogue xd synthesizer

In addition to the two analog VCOs, a digital sound multi engine adds additional options in the form of a third oscillator. This oscillator includes three sound generator variants (noise, VPM and user slot) and allows you to take advantage of the sound character different from analogue, and use it simultaneously with analogue oscillators, thus infinitely expanding the potential of hybrid sound design.

• Noise generator - provides percussive sounds and sound effects. You can use the digital filter to change the noise colour directly.
• VPM oscillator - a VPM (Variable Phase Modulation) / FM oscillator with a two-operator structure is available. It can generate crisp, metallic sounds with a variety of higher harmonic frequencies beyond the capabilities offered by analogue systems. With 16 oscillator types and SHAPE control, you'll be able to intuitively create complex sounds.
• User oscillators - you can upload your own oscillator programs that you have created or obtained from the internet. There are 16 user slots and one type of morphing wavetable oscillator as preset.
