Kneipp bath salts contain sodium chloride NaCI (salt) which, when dissolved in liquid, raises the pH of the solution = the solution is alkaline. For example, seawater has a PH alkaline of about 8.1 pH, the water in the Dead Sea has a PH somewhere around 8.7. Kneipp bath salts also contain various essential oils, herbal extracts and possibly Sodium methyl (sodium salt), which is a gentle tenside suitable for sensitive skin that will also raise the pH if dissolved in the liquid. Although the final pH depends a lot on how much salt is dissolved in the solution, the resulting bath will always be more or less alkaline.
Use:
Fill the cap 3/4 full and add the contents to a bath at 36-38 °C. The optimal bath time is approximately 15-20 minutes.
