KLIPSCH ProMedia Lumina Black
The Klipsch ProMedia Lumina is an active 2.1 set of compact computer speakers with RGB lighting that serve as a powerful desktop audio system for gaming, watching films or listening to music. The key feature of the set is the tweeters with patented Microtractrix Horn technology, which, despite their small size, excel with high acoustic performance, dynamic and clean sound, and precise localisation—something that gamers and content creators will particularly appreciate. The audio system is complemented by a low-profile active subwoofer with a side-firing 6.5" bass driver that effectively fills small to medium-sized rooms with deep bass. The subwoofer is equipped with a classic 3.5mm audio input and a USB-C connector, allowing for direct connection to modern phones and computers. There is also a Bluetooth 5.3 interface, which you can use to wirelessly stream music directly from a smartphone or tablet. The Klipsch Connect Plus mobile app is used for detailed adjustment of the equaliser, RGB lighting, and other functions.

The ProMedia Lumina Black Delivers the Signature Klipsch Sound
The ProMedia Lumina Black desktop speaker builds on the legendary Klipsch ProMedia series of computer speakers, which became one of the best-selling desktop speaker systems. This redesigned version brings a modern design, easier controls, and flexible connection options (wired and wireless) while retaining the iconic Klipsch sound that users are accustomed to. With a sleek cabinet design, tilting stands, and modernised controls, the ProMedia Lumina speakers seamlessly integrate into any work setup.
Tweeters with Microtractrix Horn Technology
The ProMedia Lumina audio system uses two three-inch midrange speakers with 1" MicroTractrix Horn tweeters, a technology that uses a special funnel-shaped waveguide design that directs sound waves directly to the listener's ears. This minimises unwanted reflections of sound waves from the desk or walls, which could cause distortion. The result is an exceptionally clean, detailed, and transparent sound with solid spatial localisation (surround sound), which will be appreciated by content creators, gamers, and film enthusiasts alike.
Deep Bass Provided by an Active Subwoofer with an Amplifier
Thanks to the active subwoofer with an integrated amplifier and a side-firing 6.5" driver, you can look forward to sophisticated and deep bass that fills the entire room. Manual adjustment of the sensitivity and bass volume (sub gain) is possible with a rotary dial located on the rear panel. The subwoofer also serves as a central hub for connecting satellite speakers (using a DE9 connector) and external devices such as computers or phones (via USB-C, Bluetooth, or AUX input). Thanks to its low profile and clever cable management system, the subwoofer can be easily placed at the foot of your desk or next to your PC case without taking up too much space.
The ProMedia Lumina Offers Striking RGB Lighting with Multiple Modes
The ProMedia Lumina speakers feature RGB lighting, which gives this model its name “Lumina” and will surely excite any gamer. The diodes are located on the back of both satellite speakers, which creates indirect, ambient lighting that reflects off the wall behind the desk, so it doesn't shine directly into your eyes. The system supports several dynamic RGB modes, allowing you to customise the look of the speakers to suit your mood or gaming setup. The brightness and RGB modes can be controlled using a multifunction button on the speaker body, or in the Klipsch Control app.
Easy Control with the Klipsch Connect Plus App
Controlling the ProMedia Lumina speakers is made easy with the Klipsch Control app (for PC), or the Klipsch Connect Plus mobile app, which allows access to advanced settings, including control of lighting intensity, light effects, and RGB modes. The app can also be used to adjust the multi-band equaliser, control the subwoofer volume, and turn on Virtual Surround sound or Night Mode, which reduces the bass volume to a minimum so you won't disturb those around you when listening or gaming.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, and to listen, all you need to do is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to simply as speakers. They are intended more for high-quality, loud, and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect a variety of sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and higher).Specifications
