Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133MHz ECC Registered

An upgraded DDR4 memory module with reduced power consumption from proven manufacturer Kingston, for high performance work systems and HP servers. Supports ECC Registered Technology and has a capacity of 8GB. ECC technology checks transparently and in real time the integrity of data stored in memory. It can find and fix an error in one bit and detect the error in two bits. Some memory controllers can also repair larger scale errors in conjunction with ECC memory. Most server boards require memory with ECC support.

Registered memory is equipped with a proprietary controller that controls access to individual memory modules, making it easier for the memory controller on the board or processor to work. The memory behaves externally as a single module - the register chip - which takes care of writing and reading from individual memory cells and transfers the result of these operations to the controller. This increases the efficiency of memory access and processing speed, even when multiple memory modules are used at the same time. Some server boards require registered memory.
