This upgraded DDR4 memory module from the renowned Kingston company is designed for powerful workstations and servers. It supports ECC Registered technology, which performs real-time integrity checks of the data stored in memory, which allows it to find and fix an error in a single bit and detect errors of two bits per 64-bit word. Some memory controllers can also repair larger errors in conjunction with ECC memory. Most server motherboards require memory with ECC support.
