Application (step by step)
- Swab the throat with a sterile swab.
- Insert the swab into the tube of reagents and mix thoroughly.
- Apply 3 drops of the extracted sample to the test cartridge.
- Wait 10 minutes.
- Subtract the result according to the interpretation below.
Evaluation of results
- Positive: Two red lines (C and T). The presence of Streptococcus pyogenes - a possible bacterial disease (angina). It is recommended to contact a doctor.
- Negative: One red line (C). Strep A antigen was not detected. Symptoms may be of viral origin.
- Invalid: No or only a test line. The test must be repeated with a new set.
