iXS HORIZON-GTX X52017 Jacket, black and white, 4XL

The iXS HORIZON-GTX men's touring jacket in size XXXXL is designed for year-round motorcycle riding. Thanks to the Gore-Tex® material, it offers high water resistance and breathability, while stretch panels ensure freedom of movement. Your safety is taken care of by a complete set of certified protectors, including a back protector. A removable thermal liner and a lightweight mesh lining allow you to adapt the jacket to current weather conditions, from cool mornings to warm afternoons.

Protection from the elements

The core of the jacket is a permanently sewn-in Z-liner Gore-Tex® membrane, which guarantees it is waterproof while allowing moisture vapour to escape from the body. It is complemented by a lightweight and breathable mesh lining with a water barrier. For a sudden downpour, there is a waterproof integrated hood in the collar, which prevents water from penetrating the neck area. The comfortable collar itself has soft panels sewn in to prevent pressure, even on long journeys. In colder weather, you will appreciate the removable thermal liner.

Safety features and certification

The jacket meets strict safety requirements and is certified according to EN 17092-3:2020 in the high AA class. It includes shoulder and elbow protectors certified to EN 1621-1:2012 (Level 2). The elbow protectors are also height-adjustable for a precise fit. Back protection is provided by a back protector certified according to EN 1621-2:2014 (Level 2). Increased durability is also ensured by seam protection on the sleeve, which prevents them from fraying.

Customisation and practical details

You can easily adjust the jacket to your figure thanks to the adjustable circumference of the upper arms, forearms and cuffs. The waist circumference can be adjusted with Velcro and an elastic cord. 3D mesh is used on the back for better moisture wicking. Connection to the iXS Horizon-GTX trousers (X64012) is made easy with the iMC magnetic buckle system. Four ventilation inlets allow you to regulate airflow and maintain thermal comfort while riding.
