Intel Core i7-8700K @ 5.0 OC PRETESTED DELID

Intel has launched the 8th generation of its Intel Core processors, this time branded with the label Coffee Lake. Basically, it has a very similar architecture to the previously successful Kaby Lake series. However, Intel has made various improvements, resulting in an Intel Core i7-8700K processor that delivers real-world performance, while maintaining low energy consumption.

The Coffee Lake architecture is once again based on a 14nm production process. The demanding manufacturing process is handled solely by Intel, with utterly stunning perfection, providing the Intel Core i7-8700K processor with a superb price/performance ratio. For the first time, the core i7 includes six powerful cores. The increase in the number of cores is accompanied by higher working frequencies, which have improved up to a whopping 4.7GHz benchmark, when in turbo mode.

What does DELID mean?

This process is a relatively sophisticated adjustment to the CPU itself. Intel has used a relatively common heat conductive paste between the chip and the heat transfer, with the result that local overheating of the processor during overclocking can happen in a matter of seconds. Michal Mikle safely processes, ("unwrap") the processor by applying the paste and then reseals everything into its original form. The result is a noticeable drop in temperature during its maximum load.

Intel Core i7 with unlocked multiplier

Due to the unlocked multiplier, this processor is suitable for games with overclocking. All you need to do is install a suitable cooler, have enough memory, and use a suitable piece of silicon.

Accessing data is facilitated by a fast 12MB L3 cache, which provides the cores enough time to respond instantly to all applications. The Intel Core i7-8700K processor is guaranteed to serve as a reliable building block for gamers.
