Representing the 4th CPU generation for motherboards equipped with the new socket 1150, this processor is composed of 4 physical cores, each of which is clocked at 2.8 GHz, and up to 3.3 GHz with Turbo Boost. It is based on the HAswell architechture, which uses the advanced 22nm manufacturing process and offers higher performance using the same clock speed. The memory controller is integrated into the chip, as was the case with the previous generation. Model 4440S features a dual channel memory controller and supports DDR3 memory modules with a speed of 1600 MHz. L3 cache offers as much as 6 MB.

Powerful Graphics Chip

The processor features an integrated GPU from Intel HD series, produced using the same 22nm manufacturing process, and offers a significant performance boost compared to the previous generation. In this case, the graphics chip is Intel HD 4600, which is clocked at 1100 MHz and utilizes shared system memory.
