Imou Ranger RC 5MP
Imou Ranger RC 5MP
The Imou Ranger RC 5MP indoor rotating IP camera provides detailed home monitoring with a high 3K resolution and full panoramic coverage. This Cube-style camera offers a horizontal rotation of 0° to 355° and a vertical tilt of -10° to 70°, reliably monitoring its surroundings even in complete darkness thanks to infrared night vision with a range of 10m. It is powered by a mains adapter with a DC 5V/1A output. The security system integrates advanced algorithms for motion and person detection, which instantly send notifications to your mobile phone and activate the built-in siren in the event of a disturbance. The camera features a convenient One-touch Call button for instantly starting a two-way call with family members.

Detailed 3K Image with Modern Compression
At the heart of the optical system is a 1/3" Progressive CMOS image sensor, which provides a resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels at a frame rate of up to 25/30 frames per second. The fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length ensures an angle of view of 77° horizontally, 40° vertically, and 91° screen sizely. For efficient storage management, the device uses H.265 and H.264 compression formats. These modern codecs significantly reduce bandwidth and storage media capacity requirements while maintaining high-quality video recordings.
Reliable Infrared Night Vision
Property protection continues uninterrupted after dark or in complete darkness. The integrated infrared illuminator activates automatically based on an evaluation of the light conditions in the room. The classic infrared night vision has a range of up to 10m, which is sufficient to cover standard living rooms, hallways or offices. This function provides a clear, noise-free black and white image and allows for continuous surveillance of the guarded space 24 hours a day.
Smart Tracking and Person Detection
Security features include intelligent detection algorithms that can accurately recognise human presence and distinguish it from other moving objects. When activity is detected, the Smart Tracking function is triggered, which automatically rotates the lens and keeps the moving target in the centre of the frame. The system immediately sends a notification to the user's mobile phone and, if necessary, activates the built-in siren to deter unwanted visitors on the spot.
Two-way Communication and Sound Detection
The camera body combines a sensitive microphone and speaker, which together ensure clear two-way audio transmission in real-time. A major advantage is the special physical One-touch Call button located directly on the device's body, which children or elderly people can press to instantly make a call to the administrator's mobile app. The built-in system reacts to abnormal sounds in the vicinity, such as a baby crying or glass breaking, and immediately sends a warning message.
Flexible Recording Storage and Privacy Protection
Users can choose from several ways to store their video recordings. Local storage is provided by a built-in slot for MicroSD memory cards with support for capacities up to 256GB. Alternatively, data can be sent to an NVR network recorder or you can use encrypted cloud storage. If you are at home and require complete privacy, activating the physical cover will turn the lens downwards, reliably preventing any unwanted recording of the interior.
Connectivity Options
Wireless connection to the local network is provided by an integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi module supporting IEEE802.11b/g/n standards with a range of up to 50m in open space. The ONVIF network protocol ensures wide compatibility with recorders and systems from other manufacturers. Device management, live view and configuration are carried out via the Imou App, which is available for Android and iOS operating systems and offers localisation in Czech.
