The ICY BOX IB-318StU3-B external aluminium box allows you to conveniently connect and then access your 3.5" SATA drive. The modern USB 3.0 interface connects with a high-bandwidth transfer rate of up to 5Gbps. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 or USB 1.0. The frame supports Easy-Swap and Easy Plug and Play connectivity technology. Moreover, the case can be connected or disconnected at any time from a running computer without the need to reboot. It also includes the UASP function. Your drive is powered by an external adapter.
There are two diodes on the front, displaying the power status and disk access. The power switch is on the back. The firm aluminium construction provides high durability and strength, as well as efficient heat removal. The operation of the disc is very quiet thanks to its fanless design. The box also includes a stand for comfortable vertical positioning. Box dimensions are 220 x 115 x 30mm with a weight of 0.41kg.
