Homematic IP Occupancy Sensor - indoor - HmIP-SPI

The ceiling-mounted wireless occupancy sensor (HmIP-SPI) for indoor use is part of the Homematic IP smart home system. The device reliably detects motion and changes in ambient brightness for remote lighting switching. The compact wireless occupancy sensor (HmIP-SPI) with PIR motion detector can also be used as an alarm sensor in the Homematic IP smart home system or to remotely switch lights depending on the ambient brightness value and connect to other Homematic IP products via a free mobile app.

Wireless ceiling occupancy sensor with 360° detection

The Wireless Occupancy Sensor (HmIP-SPI) is designed for indoor use and is designed to be mounted on the ceiling of a monitored area defined by a circle (360°) below. In case of intense temperature changes in the room (e.g. switching of the underfloor heating), the sensor automatically adapts to the relevant conditions to avoid unwanted alarms. The high-sensitivity motion sensor can detect even the most subtle movements within a limited detection range (e.g. hand movements on the keyboard) or coarse movements in a wider detection field (e.g. human gait). With an installation height of 2.7 m above ground, the detector covers a circular area up to 7 m in diameter.
