The M5 tapping set is suitable for mild structural steels up to 500 N/mm2, automatic steels, structural steels and hardened steels up to 800 N/mm2. It is also ideal for grey cast iron, ductile iron, tempered cast iron and copper alloys (crumbly chip). Can be used on aluminium alloy < 10% Si and limited use on copper alloys (wound chip).
