Material and lifespan
This cover strip is made from rubber. The material has a UV-stable finish, so it resists weathering and sunlight well without becoming brittle or changing its properties. The strip's lifespan therefore matches that of PVC windows and doors, where it is most commonly installed. You can use it to cover joints both indoors and outdoors. The strip is made in Germany.
