Nano impregnation for concrete and stone
The material you impregnate with NanoConcept acquires strong hydrophobic properties. It's an easy and quick way to make an absorbent material non-absorbent, which protects it from soiling, improves its insulating properties and also protects it from erosive aging-weathering and UV radiation. Last but not least, the penetrated material also repels oils excellently, resists salts, acid rain, acids in general and other chemicals up to pH 13. The protective nano-layer is colourless and invisible to the human eye. In other words, unlike coatings and paints for concrete, you cannot tell the visual difference between the impregnated and untreated part of the material with the naked eye. The nano impregnation helps the treated material retain its original appearance and colour shade, and the increasingly appreciated lotus flower effect gives it self-cleaning properties. In the case of outdoor paving, walls, roof tiles, etc. the self-cleaning effect is provided by nature itself - by rain. In the interior, cleaning the impregnated material has never been easier - just a cloth with water or a wipe.
Perfect protection with self-cleaning effect
Compared to conventional penetrations, there is no need to apply an additional protective coating to the impregnated material. Nano impregnation is the ideal solution for cases where you want to preserve the original appearance of the material. It's not concrete paint or primer. The product penetrates the material with an aqueous solution containing highly hydrophobic SiO2 nanoparticles. Compared to conventional penetration, the material treated with nano impregnation of concrete and stone does not need to be treated with an additional protective coating. Nano impregnation provides sufficient protection. Unlike conventional products, nanotechnology does not work at the molecular level, but at the atomic level, and therefore has a more effective repellent effect. The treated surface is completely safe in contact with people and animals. Conventional stone and concrete penetration creates a compact-solid protective film that prevents the seepage of liquids. However, the protective film is not very resistant to mechanical abrasion and loses its protective properties very quickly when its integrity is compromised. In addition to this, a solid protective layer has another disadvantage - it reduces the frost resistance of the concrete, which leads to surface cracks. Use:
Ensure that the surface to be treated is clean before applying the nano impregnation. For effective cleaning, the IM 480 cleaner and degreaser developed by NanoConcept for this purpose is recommended. It reliably removes dirt, grease, smog and biological impurities such as moss, algae, lichens, etc. Apply the impregnation with the supplied sprayer or with a brush, roller or pressure nozzle.
Quantity required for use:
Approximately 50-250 ml per m² (depending on the type of material).
