The petrol pruning saw is designed for pruning mature trees and shrubs directly from the ground, thus facilitating the maintenance of greenery without the need for a ladder. It allows the lightening of the coarse tree crowns by removing excess shoots and branching and is also suitable for cutting off broken or dry branches. The saw is equipped with a 2 metre long pole handle, which can be extended to 2.7 metres with an extension, allowing a comfortable reach into the higher parts of the trees. The cutting head can be tilted in 4 positions with a range of 90°, making it easy to work at different angles and access hard-to-reach branches. Automatic saw chain lubrication ensures optimum performance and longer life of the saw chain. At the heart of the saw is a single-cylinder 2-stroke engine with an output of 0.9 kW, which meets the EURO V emission standard for reducing pollutants in exhaust gases. Starting is made easier with the PRIMER system (manual fuel pump) and a reverse start system that minimises the effort of starting the engine. The saw has a 0.5 litre fuel tank, which provides sufficient working time between refuelling. The design of the saw includes a 240mm guide bar that allows for efficient cutting.
