Electro-galvanising

Electro-galvanised finish offers a more attractive, coloured appearance compared to hot-dip galvanising. It provides corrosion protection for products intended for dry indoor areas where moisture is rare. The zinc layer thickness is approximately 12 microns.
How the electro-galvanising process works
Just like with hot-dip galvanising, the product is thoroughly cleaned and prepared beforehand. The items are then submerged in a zinc salt solution and connected to a direct current source. This dissolves the pure zinc, which migrates to the cathode and deposits onto its surface.
