Contactless control
Contactless operation of the waste bin ensures maximum cleanliness and ease of use. If you have your hands full, the waste bin lid will open automatically for you and then close after you throw in the trash. This system is very hygienic and helps to reduce the incidence of bacteria in your kitchen.
Helpmation microchip
The Helpmation waste bin opening and closing system is controlled by a computer chip. Aside from the regular automatic opening, you can also open the bin manually if needed, using a special button (for example, if you need to have the lid open for a longer period); then the lid will remain open until you press the button and close it yourself.
Low power consumption and power draw
The waste bin electronics are powered by three type LR20/D batteries, which should last you at least 12 months. We recommend using high-quality alkaline batteries.
