Just put your hand about 25cm above the sensor and the lid opens automatically, and then closes again after you have thrown away your garbage. The opening and closing of the lid is controlled by an infrared sensor. When a hand moves towards the sensor, the lid opens within 0.5 sec, and when the hand moves away, the lid closes in 3 sec. You can also open the lid manually if necessary (for example, when you need to keep the lid open for a long time). The economical operation of the waste bin is provided by 3 LR20/D batteries, which, when using high-quality alkaline batteries, open the lid up to 10,000x.
The basket is made of premium brushed, matte stainless steel with Fingerprint Proof protection, and the lid is also made of matte stainless steel.
