The PENTAX HD DA 15mm F4 ED AL LIMITED Lens is a perfect lens falling into the "fish-eye" category, which are extremely wide-angle lenses with intentional distortions of perspective. It is suitable for many occasions in the lives of amateur and professional photographers.
The new HD version can bring more light without degradation. The front part of the lens is coated with SP (Super Protect), which is a special fluorine compound, in which a vapor deposition process is applied to the front of the lens. SP coating effectively repels dust, water and grease, but also allows for easy wiping of fingerprints and cosmetic creams. It is constructed with a glass element with extra-low dispersion (ED). The lens includes auto focus. After the subject is focused with the AF autofocus system, a unique Quick-Shift Focus system lets the photographer instantly switch to manual-focus operation for a final fine tune.
