Safe operation thanks to double jacket
Safety is one of the most important parameters of an electric kettle and the Gorenje K17DPB confirms this with several features. The double wall creates an insulating layer that reduces surface temperature and protects against burns - an important benefit for households with children or the elderly.
Equally important is the idle protection function, which prevents damage to the heating element if the kettle is switched on without water. The high-quality Strix thermostat ensures reliable and long-lasting operation of the automatic shut-off when the boiling point is reached, even during normal operation, which extends the life of the appliance and minimises the risk of overheating.
These features make the Gorenje K17DPB kettle suitable for regular heavy use and give the user confidence that the appliance is safe to operate at all times.
Comfortable operation and thoughtful design
The design of the Gorenje K17DPB is adapted to make working with it quick, easy and intuitive. The lid opens at the touch of a button and the special Anti-drip profile prevents hot water from dripping onto the counter or sink when pouring. This makes everyday use and one-handed preparation of drinks significantly more comfortable.
The 360° swivel base allows the kettle to be positioned from any direction, making it suitable for both right- and left-handed users, and easy to handle even when you have less space in the kitchen. The illuminated switch provides clear information about operation and the space inside the base allows you to wind up the excess 70cm cable so that it doesn't get in the way on the counter and the kitchen looks clean and tidy.
The overall design of the kettle combines functionality, ease of maintenance and visual simplicity to suit both modern and minimalist kitchens.
Practical use in everyday operation
The Gorenje K17DPB offers a capacity of 1.7 litres, which is the ideal size for households with multiple members, but also for smaller businesses where water is heated frequently. The 2,200 W power ensures fast heating without waiting long, which you will appreciate during the morning rush or when preparing multiple cups of tea or coffee.
The double-insulated plastic body keeps the kettle lightweight, making it easy to handle and not physically demanding to use, even with repeated cycles throughout the day. The practical filter prevents small limescale deposits from falling out during pouring, which improves the comfort and quality of the beverages.
The overall design of the Gorenje K17DPB is designed to meet all the common requirements of everyday use - speed, safety, simplicity and clean pouring without the risk of scalding or mess.
