The Gitzo GK2580TQDGC2PR Traveler is designed for professional photographers travelling the world. It consists of the four-section carbon fibre Gitzo GT2542T Traveler tripod with built-in GH2781TQD Traveler centre ball head and the GC2202T tripod bag.
The Traveler series is characterized by minimal weight, extraordinary compactness and exceptional quality. The tripod is suitable for lenses with a focal length of 200mm, maximum 300mm.
The quick-release head works perfectly with D profile plates. The hybrid attachment makes it compatible with most Arca-Swiss plates, the Gitzo C profile, and the other manufacturers' plates.The head can be unscrewed and replaced with the supplied mounting disc to attach any other head.
Carbon fibre tubing legs made using Carbon 6X technology are the most advanced in the market. This technology ensures high structural strength, bending resistance and excellent vibration absorption. A single tube with a diameter of 28 millimeters uses up to 1.5 million carbon fibres of 7 µm.
The Gitzo GT2542T Traveler has a 180° leg-folding system. As a result, the centre rod and the head fold between the legs, which significantly shortens its length in a folded state. This system results in a perfectly compact and easily portable tripod.
The tripod is equipped with the unique G-Lock system. This mechanism has been completely redesigned and now reaches up to 20% more stiffness, and speeds up assembly. The Gravity Lock function works with a weight that vertically affects the feet of the tripod. The greater the load, the stronger the locking is.
The case is made of durable rip-stop nylon combined with elastic neoprene. It has a practical pocket you can use for storing personal items or accessories. A removable shoulder strap is also included.
