Compact Design for Everyday Use
The Genius SP-Q160 is designed to take up minimal space while delivering clear stereo sound for everyday use with computers or multimedia devices. Thanks to their small size, the speakers fit easily next to a monitor or laptop, helping to keep your workspace tidy. Their low weight also allows for easy transportation between home, the office, or a student's room.
Simple Connection and Wide Compatibility
The speakers use a standard 3.5mm audio jack, making them compatible with computers, laptops, TVs, and other devices equipped with an audio output. USB power makes them easy to use without the need for a separate power source or batteries. The volume control, located on the back of the speaker, allows for quick adjustments to the sound level during use.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, so all you need to do to listen is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are intended more for high-quality, loud, and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect various sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in an X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It specifies how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and higher).Specifications
