The Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED smartwatch has a built-in satellite receiver compatible with GPS, GLONASS and Galileo systems, giving you accurate information about your current location. If you often go out into the field, you will appreciate the ABC sensors (Altimeter, Barometer and Compass = three-axis compass) to make navigation easier. These sensors can be calibrated automatically, or you can calibrate them manually. Using the navigation function, you can have a route to your destination calculated automatically or plan your own on your computer or mobile phone. You can do this via mapy.cz and the Garmin Connect log. Golf fans will appreciate the presence of golf course maps (CourseView). You can look forward to more than 42000 golf courses from all over the world. Skiers are similarly well-catered for, with 2000 resort maps (SkiView) available in the Garmin watch. In the Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED watch, you can also view detailed TopoActive topographic maps, which can be downloaded for free. You can also update the watch without a computer thanks to the built-in WiFi receiver. For topographic maps, you have the option to display the boundaries of federal public lands, so you can easily see where you are entering and where you are currently located. Garmin maps, which cover the whole world, are integrated directly into the watch.

Health features of the Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED watch

In the watch and mobile app, you can monitor a whole range of important indicators about your activity, health and rest. For example, you can look forward to:

• Body Battery function — this feature gives you a complete overview of how your body is coping with strain and determines whether you are getting enough sleep, whether you are overexerting yourself, etc. Your body energy level is expressed on a scale from 0 to 100.
• Wrist-based heart rate monitoring — the Garmin watch measures your heart rate throughout the day and alerts you if it is too low or too high.
• Pulse Oximeter – find out how well your body absorbs oxygen during the day and night.
• Stress score — based on an evaluation of your heart rate variability, this function determines the current level of stress on your body.
• Fitness age — the watch uses your biological age, weekly activity, resting heart rate and BMI to determine your fitness age and whether your body is younger or older than you actually are.

• Respiration rate — the watch records and measures your breathing rate throughout the day, even during sleep. In the app, you can then choose from various breathing exercises to help you with proper breathing or to relieve high stress.
• Intensity minutes — get information about how much activity you record, at what time and during which activity.
• Hydration tracking — it's important to stay well hydrated during your activities. In the Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED smartwatch, you can set a hydration plan and track your progress. The watch can then also display your estimated sweat loss.

Smart features of the Garmin watch

The presence of NFC enables you to use popular contactless payments with the Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED watch via Garmin Pay (if supported by your bank). Of course, you get notifications for incoming emails or other alerts from apps installed on your paired smartphone. If you own a phone with Android, you can look forward to quick text or voice replies to messages. The Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED also offers a smart safety and tracking feature where, after pairing with your phone, you can share your current location with your contacts manually, or, during selected outdoor activities, automatically send your location using the preset incident detection. The Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED watch has an integrated music player with a total capacity for up to 2000 songs. Of course, you can also use streaming apps from compatible services (via a connected phone).
