Garmin inReach Messenger Plus
The Garmin inReach Messenger Plus is an SOS satellite communicator that supports sending photos and voice messages. It lets you send photos, texts, voice messages, or SOS alerts two ways. - Send and receive text messages or activate interactive SOS communication remotely with selected compatible Garmin products
- Even if your phone's battery dies, you can see confirmation that messages have been sent, send new messages, and read replies on the screen
- The integrated antenna automatically searches for satellites and updates your latitude and longitude
- You don't need to point the device directly at the sky to find satellites
Send messages and photos
Send a selfie or share a sunset without needing a mobile signal. Tell your loved ones you miss them with a 30-second voice message, no mobile signal required. Pairing with the Garmin Messenger app on a compatible phone is required.
Two-way text messaging
Send text messages up to 1600 characters long directly to the device. Connect a compatible phone with the Garmin Messenger app to send voice messages, including emojis, or start a group chat.
Emergency communication
In an emergency, you can activate interactive SOS communication, which sends your GPS coordinates to the international Garmin Response centre, which operates 24/7. You don't have to rely on a mobile signal. Your messages are sent via the Iridium satellite network with 100% global coverage.
Route sharing and the Garmin Explore app
Share your GPS location and route at any time with the LiveTrack feature. You can also embed your GPS coordinates in text or voice messages and photos. Plan your trip, view the route on a map, save your activity and view route highlights showing how far your destination is. You can do all this with the Garmin Explore app.
Designed for the wild
The compact inReach Messenger Plus communicator is built for use in extreme temperatures. It's tough, durable, shock-resistant and has a waterproof rating of IPX7.
