The Garmin HRM TRI wireless heartbeat frequency sensor is a great tool for everyone who wants to have a clear image of their heart activity when training. The sensor is designed especially for triathletes and it is the smallest heartbeat frequency sensor by Garmin. It is attached to a chest belt, which is resistant to slipping, therefore it holds in place even during rolls, turns or taking-off of a pool wall.
The information and data measured are automatically saved into the memory and after you break the water, they are transferred to compatible sports watch. The HRM TRI sensor is also equipped with an accelerometer, which can measure the length of the contact between your foot and the ground and also the hight of your take-off when running. The device uses a replaceable CR2032 battery, which can last up to 18 months and the belt itself is able to record up to 20hrs of training.
The chest belt can be adjusted with three replaceable elastic parts of various sizes, so everyone can find what suits them best. The sensors themselves work like ordinary chest belts. After you turn on a sporttester, they will pair and display your heartbeat frequency on your watch until the moment you plunge into the water.
