From these measured metrics, the watch derives other functions and values, such as Body Battery, Stress Score, Heart Rate Variability Status, Temperature and Altitude Acclimatisation Status, and more. The group of health monitoring functions also includes features for measuring the length and quality of sleep. In addition to the duration and Sleep Score value, the Garmin Fenix 8 also measures individual sleep stages, short naps, and provides recommendations for achieving better sleep and recovery.
Smart features to make your daily life easier
The Garmin Fenix 8 watch can be connected to smartphones with Android or iOS operating systems. On both platforms, the watch offers the ability to make Bluetooth calls directly from your wrist, thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker (the watch does not have a built-in SIM card and requires a compatible smartphone to be connected nearby for the calling function). On both platforms, it's a given that you can view notifications and incoming calls on the watch display. If you own an Android phone, you can also reply to messages directly from the watch screen.
