Beneath the facade of this watch lies a Smart Watch like no other, it is an extended phone with many features and an uncompromising sporttester. The Garmin Fenix 3 is equipped with a sensitive GPS / GLONASS receiver with a new steel EXO antenna located around the colour Chroma display. It remains switched on all the time, even in Smart mode for up to 6 weeks on one battery charge.
It is 20g lighter than the previous model and equipped with a GPS-enabled settings that can last from 16 to 50 hours apart (depending on the intensity setting storing GPS points).
Watches are equipped with a compass, a barometric altimeter, a sensitive GPS, pedometer and a built-in thermometer. You can monitor your physical activity in many respects and the watch offers a wide range of training capabilities for improving your fitness. Set simple interval training, or (using a computer) the complex variable-length intervals and various alarms. Training plans are prepared for running, cycling and swimming which all can evaluate your performance. The watch will let you know if there is a change in ambient pressure highlighting the coming storm.
In conjunction with encoder pulse (included), you can move your fitness program to a new level. For example, after every activity the watch will recommend the time needed for rest. After each run longer than 10 minutes the watch calculates the value of VO2 max and evaluates what you can do next to improve your fitness preparing you for a half marathon or marathon.
All measured values are automatically recorded in the memory and then you can transfer the diary by Garmin Connect to your computer or smartphone. For transmission uses ANT + wireless technology, WiFi or Bluetooth. Garmin Connect service is a web training diary for storage, analysis and sharing of sports activities recorded with the watch. They are used by millions of users worldwide and offers simple operation, which is fully available in the Czech language. Connect allows you to track your progress achieved over time, as well as to share the results with friends and other users.
