Dual SAS Expander server equipped with a PCI expansion card, LSI MegaRAID 6G, which allows the server to use in RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 60 Server is executed in a designated altitude 2U Rack Rack. It is designed to operate as a separate environment, but also as part of the Cisco Unified Computing System. This compact server combines the flexible disk storage and rich I/O configuration with innovations from Cisco, including support for the unity of a standardized network infrastructure and technologies for virtualization Cisco VN-Link. Its use is ideal as a database server, file server as an application server for small local and remote sites or as part of data center virtualization.
Server is available in configurations without a hard drive fitted. Optional drives (to 16) are supported for both SAS and SATA interfaces. Positions are hot-swappable for quick installation/replacement.There also the possibility of additional expansion cards, there are 5 PCI slots. Network connectivity is provided by dual RJ-45 output rates up to 1 Gbit/s. In the case of retrofitting an optional adapter or Cisco CNA UCS P81E can reach up to 10 Gigabit connectivity.
