Do you like your rice to be loose or do you prefer a slightly sticky rice for sushi? With this clever rice cooker, you can prepare rice exactly the way you want. The Gallet Rezé rice cooker works completely alone, just fill the container with rice, add water and it will prepare perfectly cooked rice. In the 1.5l container you can cook up to 0.8kg of rice (weight before cooking).

Vegetable chicken with ricotta and parmesan sauce
Rinse the basmati rice in a sieve together with the quinoa. Pour into the rice container, add salt, a pinch of Italian spice, 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds, and 2 teaspoons of sesame seeds. Pour the water so that the water level is about 1.5cm above the surface of the rice. Add a piece of butter (about 10g), cover with a lid and turn on the cooker. After the rice has been switched to the keep warm function, leave for 10-15 minutes to keep the rice warm and do no remove the lid.
In the pan, fry half a red onion that is cut into pieces, add chopped chicken breasts. Then add 1/2 fresh red pepper and 5cm zucchini pieces, 1 chopped smaller carrot and 2 smaller slices of mushroom. Season with pepper, add a mixture of Italian spices, pinch of caraway and chili and cook until vegetables are soft to bite and chicken is cooked thoroughly. Add 2-3 tablespoons of ricotta, 1l of water and cook for about 10 minutes with constant stirring. Add 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese and let it bubble for 2 minutes. Finally, add a handful of cashew nuts and serve together with the mixture prepared in the rice cooker.
