Splitting axe Fiskars X10 is equipped with an extended portion of softened plastic on the haft for a better grip of the axe. It is predestined for cutting medium and small logs due to its parameters. The new geometry of a blade facilitates pulling tight axe from the chopping block. The actual blade has two degrees of hardness - the body in the standard of 48HRC and blade in 55HRC. Like other Fiskars axes, this model offers a perfect balance between the head and the haft for safe, comfortable and efficient use. Moreover, the haft is made of FiberComp material, which makes the axe virtually indestructible. The axe is supplied with a plastic case for easy carrying.
