HIGH-TECH FRAME MATERIAL
High-tech, injection-molded composite frame doesn’t scratch, splinter, swell, or rust like wood or metal frames (GFT™ frame is made of 30% glass fibre reinforced nylon composite).
HAND-BRAKE LEVER
Delicate hand-brake lever which is designed for small children’s fingers. Lever can be customised as needed.
STEERING LIMITER
The handlebar does not fully rotate and helps keep direction. Steering limiter helps your child ride smoother and helps prevent rough falls.
REAR DRUM BRAKE
Drum brake with ceramic glass cylinder is ingeniously hidden and ensures safe and strong braking, in any weather.
"HORSE" SADDLE
Special "horse saddle" shape provides for maximum comfort and stability. The shape of the seat ensures a child does not slip off when riding downhill (unlike common pedal bike saddles used on other balance bikes) Lowest saddle position 34.5 cm/13.5 in (with lowering kit 30.5 cm/12 in). Maximum height of the saddle 44.5 cm/17.5 in.
LOWERING KIT
Optional lowering kit (LowKit™) allows kids to ride from an earlier age (starting from 22 months old). Due to lowering kit saddle of the bike is lowered by 4 cm and children with minimum height of 87 cm can ride FirstBIKE. Lowering kit is suitable for all FirstBIKE models.
