Ultra lightweight frame
FirstBike's greatest asset is the revolutionary GFR (glass fibre reinforced) frame. Using the latest technologies for plastic injection, this is a highly durable product with a light weight, long life, flexibility and extreme strength.
Safe handbrake
A comfortable handbrake is also designed for young children who will build habits and will not find it difficult to switch to a pedal only bike. The handbrake distance from the handlebar can be easily adjusted.
Steering limiter
The handles do not allow full rotation around their axes, allowing the rider to help keep direction. The limiter thus helps smooth riding without unnecessary falls.
Rear drum brake
The rear drum brake ensures very gentle and gradual braking; the braking power can be adjusted. Unlike the commonly used rear V-brake, this unique drum brake is also safe for little fingers.
Horse saddle
The special shape of the "horse saddle" provides maximum comfort and stability. The shape of the seat ensures a child does not slip off when riding downhill (unlike common pedal bike saddles used on other balance bikes)
Reduction kit
Use this option to change the seat height. The seat height range is 34.5 - 44.5cm, while the seat can be reduced by a further 4cm for two-year-olds. This allows children to reach a height limit of 87cm.
Tire choice
The Cross version is equipped with top-of-the-range Schwalbe inflatable tires that are ideal for off-road terrain.
