The lightweight and durable sapphire coating on the diaphragm serves as a reinforcing elastic layer with mechanical resistance of up to 400GPa, which helps the diaphragm maintain its shape and minimises unwanted sound distortion by up to 30%, guaranteeing softer and more detailed highs. Precise embossing of the diaphragm improves transients and further reduces distortion, while the PEEK+PU suspension supports the bass component and also helps with ambient noise cancellation.
