The EZVIZ H8C 2 IP camera is an outdoor rotating solution with Full HD 1920 × 1080px resolution and a fixed 4mm lens, providing a horizontal viewing angle of 89° and a screen size view of 104°. This device combines motorised rotation for full 360° coverage with colour night vision up to 30m and active defence using a siren and LED spotlights. It is powered by a mains connection, and its IP65-rated construction reliably withstands adverse weather conditions. The camera automatically tracks moving objects and eliminates false alarms, thanks to AI-powered human shape detection.

Sharp Full HD Image
This camera uses a single fixed lens with a 4.0mm focal length, which captures its surroundings in a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080px at a frame rate of up to 30 FPS. The wide 104° viewing angle is complemented by an 8× digital zoom, allowing you to zoom in on distant objects without losing important details. Modern H.265 video compression effectively reduces the size of stored files by up to 50% compared to the older H.264 format, saving bandwidth and storage space without any reduction in the final quality of the recorded image.
Three Night Vision Modes
The night vision mode can be fully adapted to your current needs thanks to three adjustable modes. Colour Night Vision mode activates two built-in LED spotlights that illuminate the scene and provide a clear image with realistic colour reproduction. Black & White mode with infrared illumination offers discreet monitoring without disturbing the surroundings with light. Smart mode automatically switches from infrared to colour view upon detecting human movement. The colour night vision with a range of 30m will reliably detect any visitor, even in complete darkness.
Smart Human Detection and Active Defence
Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms recognise human silhouettes and distinguish them from animals or falling leaves. When a person is detected, the EZVIZ H8C 2MP IP camera automatically starts tracking their movement and keeps them in the centre of the frame. The active defence function triggers a loud siren and flashes two powerful spotlights to deter unwanted individuals when a breach is detected. Instant mobile alerts with precise detection send messages directly to your phone or email.
Two-Way Communication and Voice Alert
The device has a built-in sensitive microphone and a speaker with sufficient power for clear sound transmission. This hardware allows you to talk to delivery drivers, welcome guests or warn unknown people on your property via your mobile phone. The sound system also serves as an acoustic alarm, which is activated when designated zones are breached. Thanks to two-way audio for real-time communication, it works reliably no matter how far away you are.
Local and Cloud Recording Storage
A built-in MicroSD memory card slot can be used to store captured video footage and recordings. The slot supports memory cards with a capacity of up to 512GB, which is sufficient for storing a large amount of video footage. An alternative is the encrypted EZVIZ CloudPlay storage, which keeps data securely off the device itself. Support for 512GB MicroSD cards ensures plenty of space for local recording without any additional fees.
Connectivity and App Options
A stable network connection is ensured by a 2.4GHz WiFi wireless interface with two integrated antennas, or you can use a classic RJ-45 Ethernet cable port. Device management and live stream monitoring is done in the EZVIZ mobile app, which is localised into Czech, English, German and Hungarian for Android and iOS systems. The system supports integration into a smart home with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. The EZVIZ app, available in English, allows for easy remote control, setting up activity zones, and saving up to 12 preset rotation positions.
